Exeter Library Fablab

Exeter FabLab is the first FabLab maker space to ever open in a UK public library and the first of a Devon-wide network. It is founded on the principle of ‘creating a generation of makers, not consumers’ – and that anyone can use the FabLab – it is an open-access, not-for-profit community space where anyone can invent and create just about anything.

Exeter FabLab are running a series of outreach programmes. including a pop-up lab with senior volunteers to different libraries across Devon County. We have currently had success at events in Crediton, and have planned events for Honiton, Barnstaple, Moretonhampstead and Bideford libraries.

There are regular taster courses on the laser cutter, 3D printing, raspberry pi, and CNC routing. All welcome.
